SHOCKING STUDY: COLLEGE IS MORE DIFFICULT THAN HIGH SCHOOL

A new study shows the grade point averages of freshmen students in college are on the average much worse than what their GPA’s were in high school. Oh the humanity ! How can this be ? Thank goodness someone has documented this horrible fact.

This study was done by the Chicago Tribune newspaper (otherwise known as “teacher bashing central”). The conclusion of the newspaper is that Illinois high schools are doing a poor job of preparing students for college. I’m sure the study is also implying that Illinois teachers aren’t doing their job in preparing students.

The reality is there are probably a hundred possible reasons why students might struggle as freshmen in college. I’m not going to bother mentioning all of them, but if you’ve been to college I’m sure you know what they are.
