LAUSD & UTLA - A MODEST PROPOSAL FOR QUANTIFIABLE ACCOUNTABILITY

LAUSD seems to really understand the mentality of teachers- we keep preaching to the choir, while it- with the help of UTLA leadership and bureaucracy- do nothing to stop the dismantling of the teaching profession and the decimation of our students and their families.
My mantra is that if what we do and what we say can be ignored by LAUSD/UTLA with impunity, then it's not worth doing. With that in mind, there are several areas where we can do things that cannot be ignored, if we are willing to do something more than talk in what has amount up until now as one long
