Superintendent Ackerman attended the ceremony. Graduating senior Duong Ly said that the good thing to come out of the tumult was "after Dec. 3, we know how to organize."

Vote on expansion of charter schools in Philly postponed The Inquirer
The SRC said it won't vote on expansion of charter schools at today's meeting and the next meeting is in August, which is much too late for schools to actually prepare to offer the new slots in September.
