At tomorrow night’s board meeting, trustees will be asked to debate and ultimately adopt the 2010-11 school year budget.
Hey everybody, invite your friends and others who are interested in public line-by-line review of the budget that has been brought to you by district staff!
That is…if you aren’t going to a promotion, ceremony, celebration or graduation.
Last April, citizens tried to participate by shining a light right out in front for all board members to see — they balanced the budget and kept the cuts out of the classroom. The presentation included charts, graphs and numbers.
These citizens, interested in tying spending to student outcomes, are still diligently working. They cannot do it alone.
