A map view of Morris Knolls High School, where seniors charged with a school prank are suspended and barred from graduation.DENVILLE — Six Morris Knolls High School seniors charged in connection with a prank of breaking into school to let loose rabbits, chickens, roosters and mice have been suspended and are barred from graduation, the school superintendent said.
The students planned to let the animals loose in the high school and vandalized a bench that displayed the name of the school, police had said. Three of the students were caught by Denville police at the scene late on June 1, while the rest were arrested within hours, police said.
The students, all 18 years old, were charged June 1 and are scheduled to have hearings June 29 in Superior Court in Morristown, according to criminal complaints filed in court.
They are Korey Orr, Matthew Trivigno, Sean Fulloon and Jake Marshall, all of Denville, Tyler Murray of Rockaway Township and Steven Lane of Stanhope, the complaints state.
