News item : Father – daughter dances and mother-son ballgames have been banned in a Rhode Island school district after a complaint from a single mom who said her daughter was prevented from attending a father-daughter dance in the Cranston Public Schools district.
Apparently all my pleading for schools to establish a “Non Offending Hotline ” have been ignored, (see my previous posts on how to avoid offending anyone in a school). When will we ever learn ?
What we need is a new government cabinet position and department. We need the “Department of Homeland Happiness”. We must have a place where not just school districts, but everyone can turn to in order to make sure an upcoming event or decision will not offend anyone.
