Since November of 2009 and with this post, perdaily has published 414 blogs over the last 4 years about the failing of public education at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and other predominantly minority filled school districts like it around the country. Whether it is the militant ignorance of those running the system or the purposeful structuring of public education to assure no challenge to those in power, that have long called the shots, is of little relevance to the students and teachers forced to continue to function in this dumbed down de facto daycare system.

As we at perdaily go into hiatus for the summer to prepare for the next academic year and the litigation it will bring to hopefully redress the longstanding yet clearly avoidable failure of LAUSD and their facilitators at United Teachers Los Angeles
