Janis Ian played tonight at Evanston
SPACE, easily the best venue in Chicago without actually being in Chicago. We were trying to decide whether Janice Ian is a legend, an icon, or a national treasure. Pretty sure we went with "legendary folk artist," which is a smaller designation than "legend." We decided that in the pantheon of folk music, Joan Baez is probably an icon, which naturally also makes her a legend. I think I'll devote a future post to this topic.
I'm obsessed with a game called
Who's Bigger? For example: Who's bigger--- Paul McCartney or Elton John? We recently killed an entire evening playing this game.
