Students Gather For Education Protest

Keep It Civil, Participant Says

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- College students from around California gathered early Monday for another large protest at the state Capitol over education budget cuts.
But this time around, some protesters urged those taking part to show restraint as they take their message to legislators.
During a similar protest on March 4, some students blocked a Bay Area freeway and attempted to block Interstate 80 in Davis.

"I would actually like to keep it civil," said Austin Hallinan, a Cerro Coso Community College student.
