Elk Grove Citizen : Feature Story

Elk Grove Citizen : Feature Story:

"For nearly a decade, Franklin High School neighbored a 46-acre, vacant lot full of nothing but grass, dirt, and jackrabbits. Artificial turf will cover much of that land when the long-awaited Hal Bartholomew Sports Park opens by this summer after nearly two years of construction.

The Cosumnes Community Services District (CSD) also plans to open two other parks in Elk Grove this year, expanding their numbers of parks in the city to nearly 85.
