This video produced by a group of young women who are part of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) features five women who have made a difference in the labor movement. One of them is Philadelphia Federation of Teachers Community Engagement staffer Evette Jones, who has also been one of the strongest leaders of PCAPS. She tells her story here.

Tom Corbett opens his campaign in Philadelphia. We will be there to remind voters of how his policies have hurt Philadelphia working families in so many ways. Starving our schools, restricting voting, rights. attacking health care, food stamps, funding for mass transist and building new prisons, but never missing an opportunity to help corporations enrich themselves.

There will be buses leaving from the Action United office at 848 N. Broad and Youth United for Change, 1910 N. Front St. at 9 a.m.
