Failed DC Chancellor Michelle Rhee funds right-wingers who push anti-gun-control, anti-LGBT, anti-middle-class agenda

(NY, NY)--Today, on the national release of Michelle Rhee's new book, Radical: Fighting to Put Students First, New Yorkers for Great Public Schools (NY-GPS) a citywide coalition of thousands of parents, teachers, students, and community leaders, released a first-of-its-kind "Rhee-port" card (below, and attached), giving Rhee an 'F' for a failed right-wing agenda at odds with the progressive values and beliefs of most New Yorkers and Americans.
Tonight, outraged parents and education advocates affiliated with NY-GPS will discuss the failing grades on the Rhee-port card and protest an event where she will be speaking. They will highlight Rhee's dangerous and divisive right-wing agenda that has harmed public schools in New York City and across the country.
"We've seen the Bloomberg backed StudentsFirstNY, headed nationally by Michelle Rhee, raising $50 million to continue failed policies in our schools after Bloomberg's time runs out. When it comes to most other issues, like immigration, LGBT equality, gun violence, we give her a big 'F' for a failed right-wing agenda that harms families and divides communities," said Zakiyah Ansari, a public school parent leader and NY-GPS spokeswoman.
