Re: "Summer program helps kids learn the ins and outs of kindergarten" (June 13, 2011)

The idea of "preparing" children for kindergarten means that kindergarten is not kindergarten: It is school.

If we have to prepare children for kindergarten, shouldn't we also prepare them for kindergarten prep? When will this end? Prenatal literacy training?
