Man, I'm depressed. This blame-the-teachers education package that just got shepherded into law with the full cooperation of the teachers' unions is certainly a crock. I wasn't part of the "negotiations" but in my experience, negotiations result in some kind of middle ground agreement, and I have to wonder what the starting points were if the result represents a middle ground.
