DePaul students to vote on replacing controversial hummus

Unless it’s the Sabra brand of the popular mashed chickpea dip.
As DePaul University students vote this week in the annual officer elections, they’ll also be asked whether they want a replacement hummus brand served on campus.
Last year, students at Princeton University voted down a similar effort calling for the student government to ask campus cafeteria services to offer an alternative to Sabra, according to the New York Times.
