Appeals Court sides with state in parents' attempt to end Furlough Fridays

A federal appeals court has sided with the state in a lawsuit brought by several special education students and their parents who sought an end to school furloughs.
A three-judge panel ruled today that a federal district court was correct in November when it refused to halt the state school district from implementing furlough days this school year and next year.
