Under Bill Powers leadership, the University of Texas at Austin is ranked one of the top 25 universities in the worldand is more racially and ethnically diverse than ever before. President Powers was also elected president of theprestigious Association of American Universities (AAU), an invite-only partnership of the nation’s 61 leading colleges and universities.
