Wide Angle’s “Video Bank” Is An Excellent Social Studies Resource
Thanks to my talented colleague, Elisabeth Johnson, I’ve learned about “Wide Angle: Window Into Global History,” a project of Channel Thirteen in New York. It has a collection of multimedia social studies lessons and a “video bank,” which I think is particularly impressive. Some pretty terrible fires are happening in Australia right now, and, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be an uncommon occurrence.
