Testimony is under way in the first APS cheating trial. On Monday, a former Atlanta teacher told jurors she caved into pressure to cheat on her students' tests to meet targets at her school.

"I feel horrible, " said Stacey Smith. "I did my babies a disservice." Smith was one of three ex-teachers to testify that they changed test answers. They were called to  in the trial of former Atlanta regional schools director Tamara Cotman, the first defendant in the chearing scandal to go to court.

Cotman, who has pleaded not guilty, and 34 other former educators, including former Superintendent Beverly Hall, face criminal charges. Here is a link to the latest development in the case.
