For many people who know the original purposes for creating charter schools, this is a difficult concept to understand. For even more people who believe the torrent of hype disguised as information/news in the media, this is even more difficult to accept. After all, wonderful and powerful people, billionaires, endorse and promote education reform – actually multinational mega-corporation education reform.
Where is the proof that the charters being created in the second decade of the 21st Century are merely greed-grabs compared to the original concept of charter schools from previous decades?
