Looking through the IEA proposed budget.
The state union convention, the IEA RA, is in March.
Delegates will be attending budget hearing around the state over the next few weeks. I received the budget book last week.
Interesting things I noticed:
- Membership is down to 106,000 full-time members. That’s a decline of 1% from a year ago.
- The Budget Committee is proposing a $5 increase in dues. State dues would then be $420. That inevitably gets reduced by the time the budget is passed at the RA.
