...so they can deny these rights.In 2003 Michael Cardozo asked parent activists to contact the Department of Justice in Washington D.C. about the removal of the New York City Board of Education and the election of school board members, replaced by appointments to a non-functional group called the Panel For Educational Policy. I called the DOJ, told them I was a parent of four children in the public school system and didnt want my vote taken away. I asked the DOJ to not approve of this.
