Emanuel Price of Black Parent Initiative wins Portland Peace Prize

The students, after studying Nobel Peace Prize winners researched people working for peace on the local level and came up with twenty nominees. They interviewed each one.
Price says of his interview: “I guess it took about 45 minutes. I was impressed by how professional and focused the students were. They had me under pressure. They really challenged me.”
He says that he wears many hats at the non-profit which aims to help black families achieve financial, spiritual and
