A planned online charter school district is suing the Oklahoma Department of Education for effectively banning it from enrolling students or accepting funds.
Epic One on One would be the first online charter school in the state, allowing students to take classes online without attending a physical location.
The lawsuit, filed in Oklahoma County District Court Aug. 2, claims the department refuses to assign the charter school a code.
