House passes bill that saves thousands of teachers' jobs

The bill just needs President Obama's signature now. The House held an emergency session to pass a jobs bill that will spend $10 billion to save teachers' jobs.
The bill also sends states $16 billion in Medicaid payments, which Pennsylvania, like many states, had already accounted for in its budget. Districtswill receive funds almost immediately so teachers can be added to schools before students return in September.
