Legislative panel focuses on college transfers
The legislative committee that has been reviewing California's Master Plan for Higher Education continues its work this afternoon, when it meets to create working groups to tackle three issues: the transfer process for students moving from community college to a four-year university; workforce development; and accountability, coordination and statewide goals for the state's colleges and universities.
The Joint Committee on the Master Plan for Higher Education meets at 3 p.m. in the Capitol, Room 126. Streaming audio of the meeting will be available.
