Today, we mark the beginning of our third year online. The SCUSD Observer is honored to introduce a company of education writers who are adopting this blog. These writers are interested in the truth, in sharing, in accountability and in remaining positive.
It’s time for some new voices that don’t only offer criticism of the mayor, the administration, the teachers, and the parents, but also offer solutions to our collective problem of no money and a broken-down system.
Our time has arrived. All of our public schools – the jewels of our city – belong to all of us. It is time to stop complaining, and to start helping. It is time to restore every neighborhood school to its neighborhood, no excuses.
You don’t need a newspaper or a blog to tell you what’s black and white.
