NEW UOO ADMIN: WELCOME RUTH RODRIGUEZ!!
As the seasons change, so does United Opt Out.
United Opt Out remains ever vigilant in its effort to end high stakes testing and shatter the grip of corporations on the lives of our children and the future of public education. But as we all know, our personal lives shift at times and with that comes changes in the roles and responsibilities we have in this fight.
We are saddened by the resignation of one of our original six UOO administrators, Laurie Murphy, whose wisdom, passion, and humor were central to the creation of United Opt Out National. Without her contributions to the group, we never would have gotten this far. Due to other professional responsibilities, Laurie determined it was best for her to discontinue in her current role as a UOO administrator. We will miss her greatly and we hope she does not stray too far from us.
However, with each change comes new beginnings. We are excited to announce our newest member to the UOO administrative team: Ruth Rodriguez. Many of you
