MAYBE LAUSD CAN'T TEACH CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T USE THEM

It is virtually impossible to have an intelligent discussion of what needs to be done to finally fix the Los Angeles Unified School District's (LAUSD) generationally failed public education system, if those in power and addressing the problem continue to accept without any critical analysis the unsubstantiated, misleading, and often downright dishonesty claims, demands, and policies of Superintendent John Deasy and his predecessors and likely successors.
It is disheartening to see a virtuoso like Deasy playing the intellectually challenged LAUSD Board where in every interaction they lose by uncritically buying into everything he says without any relevant questioning. As regrettable as this is, after so many years of watching this one-sided process, it is not surprising because the LAUSD Board is not alone in their failure to apply any critical analysis to what Deasy spouts without any factual support.
As the membership of United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) continues to decline, President Warren Fletcher and the rest of the leadership of UTLA never question any of Deasy's nonsensical
