New Reality? “You take care of us. We keep everything. Screw you.”
The social contract is simple. “You take care of us. We take care of you.”
The new reality, we are being told, is more American, more rugged individualistic, new and improved, and here to stay. “You take care of us. We keep everything. Screw you.”
The lie is in the word “reality.”

Calling greed the new social contract does not make it the reality. Calling the abandonment of the purpose and duties of a just rule of law (a government) by any other name does not create a new reality. Injustice is not justice for all. Fairness is not unfairness simply because a highly financed propaganda machine pays media and legislative leaders to call it something which it is not.
Refuse to believe the propaganda.
