Enough with the Bitching…
Stop bitching. Stop whining. Stop pouting. To be frank, we do too much of the wrong thing while corporate interest continues to do so much of the right thing and all the while, they continue to brainwash youth. While we are all sitting around rallying for justice in the classroom…corporate interest continue to coddle with governmental bodies in hope of gaining from the oppression they impose communities that they could care less about. It seems that we have grown comfortable with “keeping the dialogue going,” actually it seems that we have grown a little too comfortable. In therein lies the issue at hand, because if we have grown that comfortable with talking while children are left unrepresented than we are just as oppressive as our oppressors are.
The reality of the situation is that there are plenty of youth organizations and unions around that do not have their head upside their ass to see the calamity of educational oppression. Yet, when asked to present some actual effort in unifying an actual movement, everyone wants to start stuttering and drawing back. Which again, makes them just as “special interest” as “special interest” because their taking a special interest in speaking from a soap box instead of becoming willing to unite for results.
