BOOING EXPOSES A COWARDLY GOVERNOR



Illinois governor Pat Quinn canceled the traditional Democratic rally next week at the Illinois State Fair.  The governor gave some phony explanation to the press as to why he canceled the event.  We all know the real reason.  The governor was booed and harassed unmercifully at last year’s event for abandoning public employee unions.
The cowardly governor refuses to face the music for his decisions that side with the anti union business interests in the state.  The governor needs to face the outraged teachers and public workers and explain to them why his so-called “pension reform” efforts are all about teachers and public workers giving back despite having their pension money stolen by the state.
The governor needs to explain why “pension reform” has not one mention of the state attempting to compensate teachers for the stolen pension money. If the governor would come up with some suggestions for replacing the stolen money, maybe he wouldn’t be booed so loudly. If five new casinos are instituted, how about a percentage of that money going into the pension plan ?  What about extending the “temporary”  income tax increase and have that additional money go into the pension plans ?  Give public workers SOME compensation for the stolen money. Come and face us, governor. Explain why people who had their money
