MILLIONAIRE BUSINESS OWNERS – WHY THE HOSTILITY TOWARDS TEACHERS ?
I encourage everyone to expose the Illinois Policy Institute and other such groups for what they really are. These groups run by millionaires and billionaires are out to privatize public schools so they and all their business friends will no longer have to pay taxes to support education. They also want to destroy public teacher unions whose unity have allowed teacher salaries and benefits to grow and thereby cause taxes to grow as well.
These hypocrites pretend their goal is to improve education, when in reality they are just looking out for their own interests and for those of their wealthy friends. I encourage you to google the Illinois Policy Institute and take a look at their board of directors. I would like to see someone uncover the net worth of these individuals who are so concerned about the poverty-stricken kids who aren’t getting an education because of all those” incompetent teachers” and those “evil teacher unions”.
I suggest these millionaires do something with their money that really could make a difference in the lives of Chicago’s poorest children. How about using some of that money to start a business in the poorest areas of town ? Start a business in the middle of the worst Chicago neighborhood and thereby employ local jobless
