Seminole, Volusia to Join Resolution on High-Stakes Testing

The Seminole School Board is expected to add it’s endorsement to an anti-testing resolution that is gaining momentum across the state.
The board will vote tonight on backing a resolution by the Florida School Boards Association that asks state officials to re-examine how tests are used in the school accountability system.
School districts across Florida are signing on to the resolution adopted earlier this month by the statewide organization of school board members.
Board members in Seminole and across Florida say that the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test and end of course exams are increasingly being misused under various laws adopted by the
