Special Ed Parents to Schools: Don’t Give Us Your Stinking High Stakes Tests
After reading this post by Nirvi Shah, California Father commented tersely:
I guess no one in the NCLD teaches. Keeping schools accountable by teaching children with disabilities to the same mind-numbing, spirit-killing tests we subject general ed kids to is doing them no favors. NCLD should get off the “accountability” band wagon and focus on individual student needs not the arbitrary mandates of ignorant politicians.
It just ticks me off when organizations like the National Center for Disabilities and Easter Seals whine because,
