Education Secretary to Join National and Local Education Leaders in Celebrating Teachers as Part of American Education Week

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan will join National Education Association President Dennis Van Roekel, Alexandria City Public Schools Superintendent Morton Sherman and T.C. Williams High School Principal Suzanne Maxey to celebrate teachers and visit with students at 8:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14.

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, along with students from Chantilly High School in Fairfax County, Va., will participate Monday in a special trans-Atlantic video conference with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in London and students from the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.
