Matt Damon’s mother, a former teacher, joined her son at the July 30 Save Our Schools March in Washington DC. Nancy Carlsson-Paige certainly supported the March, but focused much of a letter she wrote to the editor ofThe Boston Globe on the newspaper itself:
I WENT to the Save Our Schools march in Washington last Saturday with my son, Matt Damon, and thousands of citizens who are worried about the harm corporate education reform is causing to children, teachers, and communities.
