Rally to Preserve Our Bargaining Rights This Monday!
Join us, ISEA members from around the state, and other union members and their supporters at 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 7th on the west steps of the Iowa Statehouse to demand the Iowa House stop their attack on collective bargaining in Iowa. HSF 117 will take away our rights to bargain health insurance and staff reduction language, as well as other damaging effects on bargaining rights. A Public Hearing on HSB 117 will be held from 6pm-8:15pm in the House Chamber. People who wish to speak may sign up at the Legislative Information Office, Room G16, located in the Iowa State Capitol, or call 515-281-5129.
