Teachers: Can Being Videotaped Make Teachers Better?
The NYT's Sam Dillon tells us that videotaping is "unfolding on a scale never undertaken in educational research" (Teacher Evaluations May Get a Video Assist) and presents the use of videotaped review and scoring as an alternative or complement to value-added measures and real-life classroom observations.
