Dallas Superintendent Michael Hinojosa today gave what could be his last State of the District address, peppering it with light-hearted references to being a finalist to lead schools in the Las Vegas area.
Hinojosa is competing against Colorado education commissioner Dwight D. Jones to be superintendent in the Clark County School District in Nevada. Clark County trustees are expected to make a decision on Wednesday.
