Media: EdWeek Touts Inflated Layoff Number

Wag of my finger to EdWeek for touting AASA's made up layoff report (275,000 School Jobs on Chopping Block, Survey Says). Noting where the number comes from doesn't get them off the hook. Leaving out the fact that many state legislatures are still in session only makes things worse. It helps somewhat that the piece reminds readers that the AASA is releasing the report to build support for another federal bailout. But I still wish media
