Parent Power School- May 2015

The second Parent Power School of 2015 was held on May 30th, 2015 at Professional Staff Congress in Manhattan. Nearly 60 parent leaders joined us to further learn about great parent engagement models like Academic Parent-Teacher Teams and “Parent Education and Empowerment Partners” or PEEPs created by New Settlement Parent Action Committee in the Bronx. We also learned how to do a power analysis and understand the key players in changing a specific policy in a school. We look forward to seeing you at our next Parent Power School!
In the meanwhile, here are the materials from the training. Please share widely!
