 Class Project: Writing Policy Papers
Writing a policy paper is an excellent way for students to express their opinions to the exact people and organizations who need to hear it the most. As your students will find out, it is quite different than your average writing assignment!
Here are 6 benefits of writing policy papers, and an example of a procedure your students can follow in order to complete this type of project.

Class Project: Documentary Screenings

Documentaries can be a strong starting point for a hearty classroom discussion on important policy issues. Our lesson plan includes a list of documentaries that can be shown for a number of major issues, including discrimination, education, environment, health, and more.
