Marie Corfield For Assembly

Marie Corfield For Assembly:

The Marie Corfield Moneybomb is coming...

The Marie Corfield for Assembly Campaign is launching a Money Bomb on July 25th. And we want YOU... to stay right where you are.
What's a Money Bomb, you say? It's a fun, grassroots fundraising effort concentrated in a short time period and driven by YOU! You don't have to leave your home—it's happening 'virtually' anywhere you have Internet connectivity because it's all online.

We're going to use it to support Marie by dramatically ramping up, concentrating & publicizing her fundraising efforts.  Last year, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee designated Marie's race the #1 Grassroots-Powered Race in the U.S.!

It should be fun and creative, so please RSVP if you pledge to make a small contribution, and wish to pass the word along.

We are headed to victory this year the only way we know how: Grassroots organizing, fundraising, and mobilization. After losing by 1% to a candidate that represents only the 1% in 2012, Marie is looking to take it this year.

Marie is counting on you, and you can count on Marie.  So, stay at the beach, at the pool or at the office, but do join!

The Independent Voice NJ Taxpayers Need...

As a hardworking mother and public school teacher, Marie Corfield is running for Assembly to be an independent voice for New Jersey taxpayers.
The Corfield Plan for New Jersey's Economic Comeback:
  • Promote Job Growth - Attract businesses to the 16th district by cutting taxes, promoting workforce retraining programs, and making it easier for entrepreneurs to start businesses.

  • Provide Real Tax Relief - Restore the the State's Earned Income Tax Credit so that families have more money to invest in New Jersey's economy.

  • Invest in New Jersey's Future - Increase education funding for public schools and universities. Ensure that our children receive the educational opportunities and the skills to succeed.
Marie Corfield will fight against policies that have limited economic opportunity and hurt New Jersey families.

About Marie Corfield - An Independent Voice for New Jersey Taxpayers

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Marie grew up in Kearny in Hudson County. She graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair with a BFA in fine and commercial art. She holds a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in Detroit.
Before moving to Flemington in 1996, Marie and her family lived in Nutley in Essex County for eleven years. She has been an art teacher since 2001, and has taught at Robert Hunter Elementary School in Flemington since 2004. She is on the executive committee of the Flemington-Raritan Education Association where she serves as the legislative chair.
As a teacher and an independent advocate for New Jersey Taxpayers, she knows that New Jersey has many of the best public schools in the country, and that real reform should be transparent and involve all stakeholders. As a single parent, she knows what it’s like to stretch every dollar and believes that Trenton has become out of touch when it comes to New Jersey taxpayers interests. And as state assemblywoman from the 16th district, she’ll work to promote job creation, cut taxes, and ensure that all New Jersey citizens have the rights and services they need to lead healthy and productive lives.
