I had absolutely nothing to do with their success in this, since they were my students only for AP US Government and Politics, but i am still proud of them - and I did have SOMETHING to do with their both getting 5s on the AP exam for that course.

Early update on Leaves - very good news!
I am writing this today, because she is going to go out of town by herself, for a birding trip with some of her family, and to serve as godmother for the baptism of her brother's daughter, and thus will not be here this weekend.
Tuesday we saw her oncologist. The blood chemistry is that she is doing great, remarkably well. The doctor is so pleased she said she would have no trouble with Leaves going off chemo for a while in order for the neurosurgeon to try to fix her back. We see the neurosurgeon on the 30th, and this is very important. So long
