Romney Horse Wins Spot on Olympic Dressage Team
GLADSTONE, N.J. — Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann, who plan to attend the opening of the Olympic Games in London this summer, now have a personal rooting interest in the event.Jan Ebeling, Mrs. Romney’s longtime riding tutor, and his horse Rafalca, co-owned by Mrs. Romney, earned a berth on the United States Olympic dressage team on Saturday.Those are the two opening paragraphs of this New York Times story, posted this evening.So I wonder. Does this mean that Mitt is now going to claim that his wife is an Olympian, the same way he claimed that he knew what it was like to be unemployed?
