Acting NJ Education Commissioner Chris Cerf, 11/11/11:

Cerf explained the Christie administration’s plans to reform tenure and revamp teacher evaluations during an hourlong speech before a crowd of 200 educators. When he commended teachers’ hard work in the classroom, the audience clapped. But when Cerf said Gov. Chris Christie holds "the highest regard for teachers,"the crowd erupted. [emphasis mine]
