Time for teachers to join the world-wide protests. Let’s all refuse to teach and instead sit around the town squares singing Kumbaya until our demands are met. These are our demands:

1. An immediate end to No Child Left Behind.

2. Future teacher evaluations must be based on ALL the factors that make for a great teacher, the least being test scores!

3. Pay increases that are reflective of the importance of the teaching profession.

4. The news media must agree to stop putting teachers in a bad light by reporting about the bizarre acts of a few incompetent and mentally troubled teachers.
