Former contributor Amanda Millner Fairbanks has just been hired as education reporter at the Huffington Post, which is on a post-AOL mergerhiring spree. After a stint running GOOD's education page and previous work at the NYT, Fairbanks will now cover national education news and her work will appear on both the main page and on the education vertical.
