Grassroots operation lays foundation for del Valle Administration’s neighborhood organizing agenda
February 16, 2011 (CHICAGO)--City Clerk and mayoral candidate Miguel del Valle, in contrast to his opponents who rely on robocalls from outside the city and expensive commercials, has mobilized a field operation of 2,500+ volunteers operating out of eight offices throughout the city.
“More and more people join this campaign by the hour,” del Valle said at a press conference outside his West Town campaign headquarters. “Our volunteers are highly motivated, well-trained, and believe in what they’re doing.”
